Conference sub-themes:
1. Enhancing the Student and Staff Experience & Internationalisation at Home
Examples may include mobility programmes, collaborative online international learning (COIL); curriculum internationalisation, or digital global partnerships; global employability initiatives, professional development, intercultural competence development, support services, or international student integration strategies.
2. Innovations in Transnational Education
Examples may include joint or dual degrees, offshore delivery models, global classrooms
3. Equity, Inclusion & Global Responsibility in Internationalisation (Including displaced students and sustainability)
Examples may include access pathways for displaced learners, ethical global partnerships, decolonising internationalisation, sustainable mobility models, community engagement, or environmental responsibility in global programmes.
Keynote speaker:
Dr Darla Deardorff is UNESCO Chair on Intercultural Competence at Stellenbosch University in South Africa, research scholar at Duke University in the US, and faculty through Harvard and holds several other faculty appointments at universities around the world including in Japan, China, and Canada. Regularly invited to speak around the world, she is the founding president of the World Council on Intercultural and Global Competence, a global nonprofit, and author/editor of 14 books and 60+ chapters/articles.
